Kidman stars alongside Harris Dickinson and Antonio Banderas in the steamy thriller Babygirl, which is scheduled to hit theaters early next year. The movie tells the story of Romy, a CEO stuck in a passionless marriage, who finds herself drawn to a younger intern at her company, played by Dickinson.

This affair soon turns into a complex relationship, packed with intense emotions and desires.

The film doesn’t just explore the romance between Romy and Samuel, it also dives deep into the dynamics of power and sexuality in a corporate setting.

The mix of professional authority and personal attraction brings an extra layer of tension, creating a storyline filled with provocative and intense moments.

As one might expect, the film is filled with scenes that are highly charged with sexual tension, keeping audiences on the edge of their seats throughout.

There were even moments on set where Kidman had to stop filming because the scenes were becoming overwhelming. The actor admitted that some of the more intimate scenes pushed her to her limits.

She revealed that during one of these moments, she had to call for a pause because she didn’t “want to orgasm any more.”

“There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It’s like, ‘Don’t touch me’,” she explained in a recent interview, as reported by The Sun.

“There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to orgasm any more’,” she continued.

“Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life! I’m over it.”

“It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout.”

Kidman has spoken before about her experiences filming explicit scenes, noting that having intimacy coordinators on set helped her feel safe and comfortable while shooting.

She has credited these coordinators with creating an environment where actors can perform such vulnerable scenes without feeling exposed or violated.

“I’m a huge believer still in the sacredness of the set or the actors’ space and it never being violated,” she admitted. “It’s ours, it’s the bubble, and then there’s the world outside.”

Her co-star, Harris Dickinson, also praised the work of intimacy coordinator Lizzy Talbot, saying: “She was important for the film and broke the unnecessary barrier and conversation around what you have to do.”
